PH meter for sushi rice

Post by Stebu on Wed Nov 19, 2008 6:39 am

I'm looking for a relatively inexpensive, easy to use PH meter to monitor sushi rice. (Sushi rice is held at approximately 80 degrees Fahrenheit, a temperature inappropriate for potentially hazardous foods. If the PH is kept acidic enough (4.6 or lower at 75 degrees), then the rice is not considered a potentially hazardous food.)

Suggestions?

I recommend using our pH Meter with our Spear Tip probe, part #840049.
