Of course, I figure it's gotta be the batteries. I never did see any "lo" battery icon.

My question is this a normal amount of time for these batteries to last? As a rule, I remove batteries in power intensive devices between uses, but didn't ...

As it stands, I've been recalibrating the pen when I begin a project, then basically shaking excess water from the probe as I test the different containers of water. What about cross contamination between samples? At times, I've poured a little distilled ...

Here is an issue a customer is facing. Any help is appreciated.

I'm a small scale wine-making hobbyist. I've made about twenty 1 gallon batches (16 different varieties) of wine since June of 2008. I was led to believe that measuring the specific gravity with a refractometer would be more accurate than using a hydrometer to track the fermentation process. After about 6 to 8 months of racking, I take a final reading at the time of bottling. My problem is that the refractometer reading ...

Air volume is calculated by measuring the air velocity and comparing it to the area that the air is moving through. This is most common in HVAC applications. As such, it is necessary to enter the area of the enclosure (duct, valve, etc.) into the CFM Anemometer prior to taking the reading so that it calculates CFM properly. To do so, follow these instructions:

1. First determine the surface area of the opening using the area formula for the shape of the opening: Circle - A = pi x radius ...
